Diagnostics for us is not just about measurement itself – it’s a thorough analysis of the machine’s condition with the goal of identifying the true cause of issues and, if possible, resolving them right away.
Machine tools are complex systems, which is why we combine various mechanical and electrical measurement methods, always with an individual approach tailored to each machine.

Want to be sure your machine is running as it should?

We will prepare diagnostics exactly according to your needs and operating conditions.

Our goal isn’t just to find the fault, but to offer a solution. Based on the diagnostics, we recommend specific adjustments, machine alignment, or follow-up service steps – to get your machine running precisely and reliably again.

What can we help you with in the field of diagnostics?

01

Machine geometry measurement

Precision first – We detect deviations as small as hundredths of a millimeter

We perform geometric measurements of lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools according to relevant technical standards. We focus on checking linear guides, axis perpendicularity, motion precision, and machine alignment – all with maximum accuracy.

Methods and equipment used:

  • Renishaw Ballbar

For checking axis geometry and backlash – quickly identifies roundness errors, reversal backlash or dynamic instability.

  • Renishaw laser and calibration system

Used for diagnosing linear and rotary axis accuracy. Also enables compensation of deviations directly in the CNC control system.

  • Electronic and traditional spirit levels

Used for precise machine levelling with accuracy down to hundredths of a mm per meter.

  • Schlesinger measurement methods

A proven standard for geometric accuracy – we measure parallelism, squareness, and straightness based on machine type.

  • Custom-made measuring tools and fixtures

For non-standard applications and limited spaces, we design and manufacture our own tools – arbors, stops, holders, squares, etalons, and more.

Vibration diagnostics

Vibrations reveal more than you might think

We specialize in vibration measurement of rotating machine components – most commonly spindle units, but also motors, rotors, gearboxes, and other special devices.
Our years of experience enter each project, with an emphasis on a tailored approach to each machine, operation, and customer.
We work with experts from CTU, VSB, and global diagnostic leaders like SKF – ensuring a top-tier level of service.

What can we do?

  • Vibration, temperature, and dynamic measurement of a spindle behavior

  • Predictive measurements (e.g., twice a year) with trend analysis and maintenance planning

  • On-site balancing of spindles and rotary components

  • Stationary and mobile balancing – for equipment such as winders, crushers, fans, mixers, or braiding machines

We use professional instruments (e.g., SKF, Prüftechnik, Adash) with frequency spectrum and phase diagnostics.

Online vibration monitoring

Continuous machine condition monitoring – without technician visits

Through the MyMachine customer portal, we offer a continuous monitoring of machine vibrations and operational states. All data is clearly visualized and accessible anytime, anywhere.

What does the monitoring include?

  • 3-axis vibration sensor – monitors vibrations on main machine components

  • Collection of operating speed from the spindle or motor – for better trend evaluation

  • Communication unit for cloud data transmission

  • Web interface for analysis and status tracking of individual devices

This allows you to plan maintenance in advance, monitor fault trend, and minimize the risk of unexpected downtime.

Drive and control electronics diagnostics

We know what’s going on beneath the surface of your machine

We don’t just focus on mechanical components. We also monitor electrical values, condition of control electronics, and drive behaviour – often the hidden cause of instability or malfunctions.
With specialized equipment and extensive experience, we can quickly identify faults – and in most cases, provide immediate intervention thanks to our in-stock spare parts.

What do we measure?

  • Current consumption and insulation status

To detect overloads, shorts, or faulty power supplies

  • Testing of synchronous and asynchronous motors

Using surge tests, phase symmetry monitoring, vibration and current consumption

  • Thermodiagnostics of control panels

Temperature measurement using thermal cameras to detect overheating, leaks, and contact resistance issues

  • Frequency inverter diagnostics

We use in-house developed devices for detailed monitoring of inverter function and stability

05

Extended measurements and advanced diagnostics

Available upon request:

  • Pressure measurement in pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
  • Monitoring of compressed air flow and consumption
  • Spindle clamping force measurements
