The BSD 12 spindle unit is suitable for machine tool manufacturers as well as for retrofitting existing equipment. It belongs to the category of high-performance belt-driven spindles with wide application in general and predominantly heavy-duty machining, particularly in roughing operations. Thanks to the ISO 50 taper and robust construction, it is well suited for demanding load conditions.

It reaches a maximum speed of 8,000 rpm and delivers a power output of 28 / 43 kW (S1 / S6–40%). In combination with the motor and a two-stage gearbox, it provides a high torque of 157 / 215 Nm while maintaining a sufficient speed range for versatile use.
